About Us

| Hi and thanks for coming to our site!!
My sister in law Leanne and myself, Kim, decided to enter the world of crafting in April 2004. We built up stock for a few months before finding a cute little shop in the main street of Mt. Gambier which we ran for almost 2 years. We...ok....I found that it was getting harder and harder to maintain the standard of living that I like, you know, a clean house, time with kiddies, coffee with friends, neither of us really had time for crafting anymore, which was a prime reason we entered into the business, so we decided to close our retail front and concerntrate on wholesaling for other craft businesess AND maybe even have some time left to do some sewing!!

| Leanne has a grown baby, Kevin 28, who is happily married to Alisha. That newly spare bedroom enabled her to spread her craft to yet another room in the house. Pushing her husbands 'boy' things further and further afield! Fortunately hubby Greg is quite handy at turning dolls legs and arms, and can even do the faces if pushed!!

| Me? Hannah is our eldest at 19 *gasp* and who is now making her way about the adult world, and although it is VERY hard to let her go, I am proud of the person that she is gradually evolving into. Then there is Matthew who at almost 15 has changed from my gorgeous little boy with blonde hair and dimples into a hormone riddled creature that I am NOT going to miss when he reaches the other side!! I can see glimmers of the young man he is becoming, I just wish it would hurry!!! My beloved Leslie who cuts and hangs all of the timber signs, rolls his eyes and smiles when I ask him to make me MORE boxes and churches, never complains and puts up with the mess, cooks, washes and entertains the children most days!! Thank you Poppy!!!!

| While Leanne may have now moved onto other things...I decided in early 2010 that I missed the action of shopfront, and when an opportunity presented itself to take up some floor space with an antiques business, I jumped at it! So we are back!!! A variety of handmades, timber signs, garlands, quilts, baskets as well candle melts and stitcheries is now available at Charlicks Bazaar in Margaret Street, Mount Gambier...Call in and say Hi to myself, or Jenny and Lois at Charlicks!!

| I would just like to add a quick note of thanks and gratitude...to the Family...Hubby and the kiddies as well as my parents, my beautiful SIL Leanne and brother Greg, the girlfiends who call in for coffee and KNOW they will have to move things at the table and check for wet spots before they put their arms up....THANK YOU so much for your continued support and encouragement, I would not be here without you!!!! x x x x x x x
